Fellom Ballet’s production of Swan Lake is told in 70 minutes as adapted for children’s ballet by Martie Fellom and features the works of musical composer Tchaikovsky (1840-1893). In this adaptation of one of Tchaikovsky’s first and most popular ballets, Swan Lake stays true to the original theme of true love in a magical world. Under the spell of the Sorceress Roberta von Rothbart, Princess Odette is forced to live as a swan by day and a human by night. One evening, a prince named Siegfried discovers Odette, and it’s love at first sight for both of them. Angered, the sorceress and her daughter, Odile, conspire to keep the couple apart. Confusion ensues, but just like most fairy tales, true love prevails!
